Divorce

A divorce can be one of the most challenging events during your life.  Studies have shown that divorce is the second most stressful life event, second to the death of a loved one.  Our office can help you navigate through this difficult event, providing compassion to our client while providing the expertise to handle any situation through the process.

Custody

Courts make determinations as to the physical and legal custody of minor children.  Physical custody refers to where a child resides most of the time or with whom the child spends the majority of their time.  Legal custody refers to making major decisions on behalf of the children, such as medical, religious or educational decisions.

Child Support

Child Support is largely determined by the gross income of the parties and their proportionate share.  In determining child support, other factors are considered, such as how much parenting time a party receives, who pays health insurance for the child and if there are childcare expenses.

Parenting Time

Parenting Time refers to which parent is spending time with the children at specific  times.  It is best to agree upon a parenting plan that incorporates the needs of your particular family, but Indiana has established guidelines to help.

Modifications

If an agreement or Order is already in place, the parties can modify it if a substantial change in circumstances warrants such change.  Our office will help you determine if a modification is warranted in your situation.
